WTOC: Body pulled from Savannah River

info@islandpacket.comMarch 6, 2013

A man working on Savannah tugboat docks has died after falling into the water this morning, according to a WTOC report.

Savannah firefighters, Savannah-Chatham Metro Police officers and Marine Rescue pulled him out of the water, but he was already dead, according to police.

As with all deaths in Savannah, SCMPD's Violent Crimes unit is investigating. Police say it's too early to tell if foul play was involved.
