Increased accessibility and add-on features such as video are among improvements to the updated Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce website that went live late last week.
The website is part of an overall marketing campaign in cooperation with The Brandon Agency. It is available at www.beaufortsc.org.
Robb Wells, director of the chamber's tourism division, said the chamber will begin focusing more on media, including videos. The new website features two previously unreleased videos.
It also works better than the previous website on various platforms, including computers, smartphones, tablet computers and other devices, Wells said.
The website has been released in beta form. Any feedback should be directed to tourism@beaufortsc.org.
"Live data always means that we're tweaking and making adjustments," Wells said. "We're still looking for ways to make this easier to use."
