A car flipped over after a crash on Boundary Street in Beaufort on Sunday afternoon, shutting down traffic in both directions but not causing any major injuries.
A small truck towing a tractor on a trailer was driving along the street when the car got "entangled" with the trailer and overturned, according to the Beaufort Fire Department.
Capt. John Robinson said three passengers had crawled out of the vehicle by the time police, firefighters and paramedics arrived at about 1:30 p.m. He said there were no serious injuries but that all three were taken to Beaufort Memorial Hospital to be treated.
Beaufort police officers on the scene said the passengers were two adults and a young child.
Lanes in both directions were reopened after the wreckage was cleared by about 2:20 p.m.
