Whale Branch Early College High School boys basketball team fell to Lewisville 64-54 on Saturday in the Class 1-A championship game at Colonial Life Arena.
The Warriors led at the half but were swamped by the Lions' third-quarter blitz.
Lewisville's defensive pressure turned into easy points, and it outscored Whale Branch 26-9 during the third quarter.
Dee Delaney and Justin Rhode each scored 12 points to lead Whale Branch, which ended the season 24-4. Shaklale Worthy scored 17 to lead Lewisville.
