Former Gov. Mark Sanford announced three more endorsements by Beaufort County residents Friday in his race for the 1st Congressional District.
Rachel Buie, former chair of the Beaufort County Republican Party; Beaufort County Councilman Jerry Stewart; and Joe Fragale, commissioner for the S.C. Human Affairs Commission announced their support for Sanford.

Sanford has already been endorsed by Sen. Tom Davis, R-Beaufort, and former state Sen. Scott Richardson. Davis is Sanford's Beaufort campaign chairman.
