Beaufort Academy 6, Hilton Head Christian Academy 0: Conner Akers had a hat trick to help Beaufort Academy improve to 2-1.

Mike Bhoi, Clay Melville and Drummond Koppernes added solo goals and goalie Reyn Reynolds made five saves in the shutout for Beaufort Academy, which is off until March 11 at Northwood Academy.

Beaufort Cup: Hilton Head Island High School will host Beaufort High at 5 p.m. Saturday in the championship game of the Beaufort Cup. The Seahawks and Eagles are both 2-0 on the season.

GIRLS SOCCER

Beaufort Academy 4, Hilton Head Christian Academy 1: Miranda Weslake led the offense, and Charlotte Delfosse was strong in goal to help Beaufort Academy pick up the victory.

Lexi Lainhart scored the lone goal for Hilton Head Christian ( 0-1), which plays at Pinewood Prep at 5 p.m. Thursday.

SPORTING CLAYS

Hilton Head Christian Academy: The Hilton Head Christian Academy Sporting Clays Team traveled to Clinton House in Clinton on Saturday. Hunter Greenwell had the team's top score, breaking 76 out of 100 clays. Other scores for the Eagles were: Drew Davis 72, James Bartholomew 71, Matt Crowe 61, Bryce Flowers 56, Shaun Poole 55 and Reece Woods 52.
