An 18-year-old man has been charged with providing marijuana to a group of children in Beaufort.
Jason Dylan Garvin of Beaufort was arrested Tuesday as part of an investigation into reports by children that they were forced to smoke marijuana in the woods near Mossy Oaks Elementary School playground on Jan. 15, according to the Beaufort Police Department.
He was charged with three counts of distribution to a minor, one count of sale and distribution of marijuana and four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was taken to the Beaufort County Detention Center, where bail had not been set Tuesday.
