Increased jet noise may be heard in the vicinity of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort starting today.
Pilots will conducting field carrier-landing practice today, Thursday, Monday and March 4.

"Although the training is noisy, it is essential to prepare pilots for the numerous day and night landings they will perform on an aircraft carrier," a base news release said.
