In-Person absentee voting starts Thursday

In-Person absentee voting for the U.S. House District 1 Democratic and Republican Party primaries opens Thursday at the Beaufort and Bluffton absentee precincts.

The precincts will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. On March 18, the Beaufort location will be open until 5 p.m.

The Beaufort absentee precinct is located at 15 John Galt Road. The Bluffton absentee precinct is located at 61-B Ulmer Road.

Voters are required to bring one of the following forms of photo identification to the polls: a South Carolina driver's license, a photo ID issued by the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, a voter registration card with photo, a U.S. passport, or a federal military ID.
