Name: Stephanie Frazier
Husband: Victor
Town: Bluffton
Children: Victor Jr., 21; Aaron, 16; Jocelyn, 12
Occupation: Child care provider
Go-to dinner: Club sandwiches and chips
Biggest pet peeve: When something comes up and throws her schedule off balance
Hobbies: Frazier said she enjoys attending her kids' sporting events. All three play basketball. Aaron also plays football. And Jocelyn cheers and plays soccer.
Volunteer work: She volunteers on the Relay for Life committee at her church, Central Oak Grove on Hilton Head Island. She also sings in the church choir.
Favorite mommy moment: Her favorite time of the day is after the homework is done, the kids are in bed and the house is straightened up and quiet -- normally at about 10:30 or 11 p.m. That's when Frazier likes to sit on the front porch and take a big breath of fresh air.
Most challenging moment: "I work nine hours a day," she said. "And when my husband has to work out of town, it's trying to balance work and how I'm going to get each kid to where they need to be at or to get there to pick them up."
Stress reliever: "I will take a quiet moment and just ... sit down, pray and talk to the Lord," she said.
Advice for other moms: Frazier said she starts her day with a prayer and ends it the same way. That is what gets her through all the chaos of the day. And she said it never hurts to have a good friend. "When things get hectic with me ... sometimes you actually need somebody who is going to speak back to you," she said. "I've always had a go-to person that I could talk to or vent to, to give me a little pep talk. ... And that definitely helps out."
