The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Unit will conduct a traffic safety checkpoint from 8 to 10 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Lady's Island Drive and Islands Causeway.
The checkpoint will be to enforce all state laws, with an emphasis on driver's licenses, vehicle registrations, and insurance.
Drivers will be asked to produce their license, registration, and proof of insurance for their vehicle.
