A cool, rainy day was just the thing to stoke enthusiasm for hot chili at the Red Apron Chili Cookoff held Saturday to benefit Bluffton Self Help. Chefs from as far away as Virginia and Florida converged up the parking lot of Tanger Outlet Center 2 to compete in the second annual cookoff. Chefs from as far away as Virginia and Florida converged up the parking lot of Tanger Outlet Center 2 to compete in the second annual cookoff. "We're on our second pot," said Levin, who theorized that the rain brought out shoppers, who then stopped by to sample the chili.
