One lane of Gulfstream Road at the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport will be closed for construction between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. starting Monday.
The work is expected to last through March 3. Flagmen will be in place each night to direct traffic through the area.
Beginning at 6 p.m. March 4, traffic will be directed to a new Gulfstream Road alignment that takes traffic through an underpass. Both lanes will be open, and there will be no restrictions, according to an airport news release.
