The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa has completed the renovation of its main ballroom, which includes new carpet, chandeliers, light fixtures, wall coverings and furnishings.

The resort inside Port Royal Plantation is in the final phase of a $30-million renovation.

Its meeting and conference spaces are now equipped with technology to help keep meetings clutter-free, according to a news release. The lobby now features a fresh vertical garden, the release said, and its restaurants and bars will be enhanced to include an outdoor ocean-view bar.

The grand reopening of the resort will occur April 15 through 21 during the RBC Heritage Classic Presented by Boeing, Hilton Head Island's annual PGA Tour event.
