A 47-year-old Beaufort man has been hospitalized after being stabbed several times by two men late Wednesday, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to the intersection of Joe Frazier and Godwin roads at about 10 p.m. and found Perry Antley with cuts and stabs on the right side of his chest.

Antley told deputies he was walking home from a friend's house when he was attacked by two men who punched and stabbed him with a knife. Antley identified one of the attackers as a 22-year-old man he has had an ongoing dispute with. He didn't know the other attacker, McIntosh said.

Antley was still being treated Thursday evening at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
