John Williams of the Northern Beaufort County Public Education Foundation hangs a quilt Wednesday afternoon in a gallery space at the University of South Carolina Beaufort's Center for the Arts. The quilt was donated by Lady's Island graphic artist Liz Chase.
The center will host "Artscapade," an art auction and wine tasting, from 6-8:30 p.m. today to raise money for public school teacher grants in northern Beaufort County. Tickets are $15 a person and include the wine tasting. Tickets can be purchased at the Bay Street Gallery or the Center for the Arts box office.
