The Palmetto Animal League board has elected Joe Baker to a second term as chairman. Other officers elected are Fred Liebert, vice chairman, and Wendy Schlegel, secretary.
Board members are Sam Britt, Tom Curry, Pam Dyer, Gerry Oldach, Mark Robertson and Karen VanDuser.
Amy Campanini has been named president and will oversee daily operations for the nonprofit animal-rescue, adoption and advocacy organization, according to a news release.
