An 18-year-old St. Helena Island man was accused this morning of phoning in a bomb threat Jan. 31 to the Dan Vaden Chevy-Cadillac dealership in Beaufort.
Deondra Jerill Smalls turned himself in to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, authorities said. He was charged with making a commercial bomb threat, a felony.
A 39-year-old man had initially been charged with making the threat, but his case was dismissed, the Sheriff's Office said.
