Weather update from WTOC meteorologist John Wetherbee

Published: February 18, 2013

A little warmer air sure feels nice. We had our coldest temperatures of the season earlier this morning, but now the sun is trying to push us into the 50s. That should be it for the cold temperatures right now.

A front bringing warmer, moister air to the region arrives tomorrow. Showers are expected between mid-afternoon and 9 p.m.

After Tuesday's rains, a new weather system will approach through the end of the week and the weekend. Models don't agree on timing or intensity yet, but it looks like a front will come in, stall, and wash out by the end of the weekend. Meteorologist John Wetherbee, CBM
