College-bound students can attend a free workshop to get tips on applying for financial aid and help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form.

The workshop, hosted by the Technical College of the Lowcountry, will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 23 in the MacLean Hall Student Center on the Beaufort campus at 921 Ribaut Road.

Students should bring their 2012 state and federal tax returns, their parents' 2012 state and federal tax returns, their Social Security number and photo identification, verification of untaxed income, and, if applicable, an alien-registration number.
