Coastal Discovery Museum salutes The Bargain Box for continuing support

Published: February 15, 2013

It is with gratitude and sincerity that the Coastal Discovery Museum salutes The Bargain Box for its decades of support of the museum's educational mission.

Along the way, The Bargain Box has funded school programs, youth-oriented exhibit spaces and activities, and teacher training in marine biology. Without their grants, none of these programs or initiatives would have happened.

Since its early beginnings in 1965, The Bargain Box has contributed more than $12.5 million to nonprofit organizations across the Lowcountry. Behind the scenes, about 300 hard-working, dedicated volunteers make The Bargain Box hum on a daily basis. And their service is what allows nonprofit groups, such as the Coastal Discovery Museum, fulfill their missions. This community is blessed in many ways; The Bargain Box is one of those blessings.
