One person was hospitalized following a wreck on Bluffton Parkway that briefly tied up traffic Monday morning.
The two-car wreck, which happened at about 7:15 a.m., took place on the parkway between Simmonsville and Buck Island roads, according to a release from the Bluffton Township Fire District.
Firefighters had to extricate one person from a car, which took about 10 minutes according to the release. The release said one person was taken to a local hospital, but doesn't name the hospital.
The wreck was cleared before 8:30 a.m., according to Capt. Randy Hunter, a spokesman for the district.
