Beaufort County will hold a public meeting at 5 p.m. Feb. 21 at Bluffton High School on the proposed design and route of Bluffton Parkway Phase 5B project.

County officials will present details of the proposed $25 million parkway realignment. Tentative plans call for construction of a road between Buck Island Road and Buckwalter Parkway that eliminates the current "dogleg" section around the Pinecrest development.

Residents can ask questions about the project and learn more about the proposed route and project timeline.
