Road crews will begin striping both directions of S.C. 170 in Bluffton starting Tuesday.

The work is part of the widening project under way along the 4-mile stretch between U.S. 278 and S.C. 46. The striping will occur between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., Tuesday through Friday.

Motorists should expect delays. Drivers also are asked to look out for workers and equipment along S.C. 170 during the construction and to drive the speed limit.
