PHOTO: Georgia professor participates in USC-Beaufort visiting-artist program

Crystal Wagner, Georgia artist and assistant professor of art at Goergia College steps back to look over the progress of her art installation "The Arboretum" Thursday afternoon at Sea Islands Center Gallery in Beaufort. Wagner's visit represents the start to USC Beaufort's visiting artist program. Students from the art program got the opportunity to help Wagner with printmaking and construction of parts of her work. The opening reception will be Feb. 8, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. at the gallery. Wagner's work will be on display for the public through March 8.

An opening reception is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at USCB Sea Island Center at 1106 Carteret Street in Beaufort. Wagner's work will be on display through March 8.
