Beaufort County will hold a public meeting on the proposed design and route of the Bluffton Parkway phase 5B project at 5 p.m. Feb. 21 at Bluffton High School.

County officals will present details of the proposed $25 million parkway realignment. Tentative plans call for construction of a new roadway between Buck island Road and Buckwalter Parkway that eliminates the current "dogleg" section around the Pinecrest development.

Residents will be able to ask questions about the project and learn more about the proposed route and project timeline at the meeting.
