Dragon boat teams will take to the water and race in this year's Beaufort Water Festival.

Organizers of the Water Festival and DragonBoat Beaufort announced Wednesday that a Dragon Boat race is planned for July 20 during the festival. The event will feature several dozen 20-plus member teams formed by local companies, associations and friends. Established teams from across the country are also able to compete.
