Thursday is the last day to apply to Riverview Charter School, and a school tour for any interested families will be held at 11 a.m. today and Thursday.
Applications for students in kindergarten through 8th grade will be accepted until 6 p.m. Thursday. Any applications received after Thursday will be added to a wait list, but those applications will not be eligible for the school's enrollment lottery. School officials have already said a lottery will be needed for kindergarten, but have not announced lotteries for any other grades.
Applications are available at the school, on the school's website, at the Wardle Family YMCA, at the Boys & Girls Clubs in Beaufort and Bluffton, and at the Beaufort, Bluffton, Lobeco and St. Helena Beaufort County Library branches. Applications can be faxed to the school at 843-379-0133, emailed to info@riverviewcharterschool.org, or dropped off at the school from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
