Venus R. Smalls, 71, formerly of the Eddings Point community of St. Helena Island and daughter of James "Garfield" Smalls and the late Alvena Moultrie Smalls, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at the Albert Einstein Hospital in the Bronx, N.Y. Arrangements by Chisholm Galloway Home for Funerals.
