Naval Hospital Beaufort's Medical Home Port, a primary-care clinic, has achieved Level 3 certification from the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

The certification, the highest level that can be awarded, was given after the clinic demonstrated superior performance in several areas, including same-day appointment accessibility, support for patient self-management, and tracking lab and radiology results.
