Rep. Shannon Erickson, R-Beaufort, is hosting a series of town hall forums for the Republican candidates in the 1st Congressional District race.
The evenings are reserved for two candidates each night to attend, introduce themselves and answer questions from the public. Each candidate will be on stage for an hour, either 6 to 7 p.m. or 7 to 8 p.m. in the auditorium of the Technical College of the Lowcountry, 921 Ribaut Road, Building 12, in Beaufort.
In the event of a run-off, another forum will be added on March 25 for the candidates in that election.
Here are the dates:
- Thursday: Rep. Chip Limehouse, 6 p.m.; Elizabeth Moffly, 7p.m.
- Monday: Gov. Mark Sanford, 6 p.m.; Teddy Turner, 7 p.m.
- Feb. 7: Sheriff Ray Nash, 6 p.m. ; Jeffrey King, 7 p.m.
- Feb. 11: Councilman Curtis Bostic, 6 p.m.; Sen. John Kuhn, 7 p.m.
- Feb. 21: TBA, 6 p.m.; Sen. Larry Grooms, 7 p.m.
- Feb, 25: TBA, 6 p.m.; TBA, 7 p.m.
- March 4: Keith Blandford, 6 p.m.; Rep. Peter McCoy, 7 p.m.
- March 7: Rep. Andy Patrick, 6 p.m.; TBA 7 p.m.
