Marine Corps Recurit Deport Parris Island will conduct live-fire training from 6 a.m. to midnight Monday through Wednesday next week, which means several local marshes and waterways will be closing to boaters.

Creeks in the range impact area are Archers Creek, Ribbon Creek and Edding Creek.

Normal live fire hours are 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Creeks are also closed during those hours, with the exception of Archers Creek, which is open on Saturdays. Details: 843-228-3170
