The following reports were released Tuesday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office:

BLUFFTON

CAR BREAK-IN

  • Fording Island Road, St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church: Purse, money, electronics, other items worth $3,240 stolen.

  • HILTON HEAD ISLAND

    BURGLARY

  • Mathews Court, Hospice Thrift Store: Cash stolen, amount pending inventory. Structure damage: $500.

  • Paddleboat Lane, Brighton Bay: Firearm, jewelry worth $1,000 stolen. Structure damage: $100.

  • CAR BREAK-IN

  • Southwood Park Drive: GPS worth $200 stolen. Window shattered. Damage: $400.

  • THEFT

  • Castnet Drive, Chaplin Community Park: Plywood worth $400 stolen.

  • LADY'S ISLAND

    MAIL TAMPERING

  • Thomas Atkins Road: Box containing thyroid medicine tampered with.

  • ST. HELENA ISLAND

    THEFT

  • Landing Hill: Vehicle stolen, recovered. Value: $500.
