President Barack Obama has proposed a sweeping and expensive new gun control program partially justified by his statement that "... if there is even one life that can be saved then we've got an obligation to try."

Yet he continues to support abortion on demand, which kills numerous defenseless babies in the United States every day.

If Obama really wants to save lives, stopping abortion is a much more effective way to do it.
