Bishop speaks about challenges facing Christians at Beaufort church

Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali, former bishop of Rochester, England, and an expert on Christianity and the forces of secularism, multiculturalism and radical Islam, spoke today at the Parish Church of St. Helena in Beaufort,

In a question-and-answer dialogue with audience member, he spoke about the pressures on Christianity from the secular world and concerns about radical Islamism. He also offered advice to the church's parishioners, who are facing a dilemma as the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina has split from the national church.
