Congressional candidate to make Bluffton, Beaufort stop

Former state Sen. John Kuhn, a Charleston Republican, will launch his bid for the 1st congressional seat Thursday.

Kuhn, who practices law in Bluffton and Charleston, will tour all five counties in the district that day including a 9 a.m. stop at the Bluffton Squat & Gobble, 1231 May River Road, and a 10:15 a.m. stop at Waterfront Park on Bay Street in Beaufort. The public is invited to meet Kuhn at these stops.

The primaries are March 19, runoffs will be April 2, and the special election is May 7.
