The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man suspected of sexual assault of a child.

Investigators are searching for 30-year old Ruben Nieto-Banda, who is wanted on one count of criminal sexual conduct with a minor. He is wanted for the assault of a 7-year-old girl that occurred Jan. 5 at a home in the Baywood subdivision in Bluffton.

Banda did not show up to turn himself in at a pre-arranged meeting. He has not been seen or heard from since last night.

He is a Hispanic male, approximately 5'10" and 240 lbs. He has black hair.

His last known address is 84 Baywood Drive in Bluffton. He is not known to drive any vehicles.
