A 74-year-old Lady's Island man was arrested Wednesday night for making a bomb threat to the S.C. Dept. of Insurance, according to SLED. Charles Edward Deal III was charged with threatening to use a destructive device, a felony punishable of up to 15 years in prison. Deal allegedly told a worker he was going to "send a bomb" when he was told he had to make a written complaint to dispute a cancellation.
