Shannon Archer is Sun City Hilton Head's new assistant executive director.
He had been the community's director of golf business operations since January 2012.
Archer has years of experience in golf business-development and has earned awards in that field. He has spent 15 years as a director, general manager or golf professional at golf clubs, and six years in accounting and banking positions.
