Registration has begun for classes in conversational Spanish and Italian, offered weekly for Lowcountry residents through the University of South Carolina Beaufort's continuing-education program.
Basic and advanced-basic classes in both languages, and an intermediate-Spanish class will be held on USCB's Bluffton campus.
The basic-Spanish class will be in the college's storefront classroom at Pineland Station on Hilton Head Island.
All classes are two hours long and run for 10 weeks. Cost: $175. Classes begin the week of Jan. 21 and space is limited. Schedules can be found at www.uscb.edu/continuinged.
