The first committee meeting to address crowding in Bluffton area schools is Thursday. School district officials have said that crowding in the schools means it's extremely unlikely that ninth-graders will fit in H.E. McCracken Middle School next year, and they may have to move to Bluffton Middle School. The committee has been charged with exploring short-term solutions to the problem for next school year, as well as long-term solutions over the next five years.
