Six Beaufort County sheriff's deputies have been promoted.
Kyle Strickland and Danielle Shea were promoted to corporal. Sean Atkinson and William Bates were promoted to lance corporal. Michael Jackson and Cornillus LaVan were promoted to patrolman first class.
