The Clemson University Extension Service in Beaufort County is taking applications for its 2013 master-gardener classes.

The Beaufort classes are from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays from Tuesday to April 9 at the extension office at 102 Beaufort Industrial Village Road. Classes will also be taught on Hilton Head beginning March 8.

Cost is $300. Scholarships are available.
