EVENTS The members of the SADD Club would like to ask everyone driving today to drive with their headlights on, showing support for its campaign for a safe holiday on South Carolina's highways, "Lights on for Life." The PTSO will meet at 6 p.m. Jan. 8 in the media center.
The SIC meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m.
HELPING HANDS Collection for the Souper Bowl of Caring will begin Jan. 7 and end Feb. 3. Cans of any kind of soup will be collected in the front office of Battery Creek High school for donation to local food banks and charities. Details: Diane Grooms, 843-322-5580.
HELPING HANDS Teachers will spend Wednesday morning doing community service. They will help at CAPA, as well as participate in Adopt-a-Highway clean up.
