The Beaufort County Clemson University Extension Service is taking applications for the 2013 master gardener classes.

The Beaufort classes will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays from Jan. 8 - April 9 at the extension office, 102 Beaufort Industrial Village Road. Classes also will be taught on Hilton Head Island beginning March 8.

Cost is $300. Scholarships are available.
