The Seahawk Slam wrestling tournament opens Thursday at Hilton Head Island High.

Six teams, including area schools Battery Creek and host Hilton Head Island, will take part in duals matches beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Then starting at 11:30 a.m. Friday, individual wrestlers from 29 teams will take part in the bracketed tournament that lasts through Saturday.

Admission is $6 per day. Wrestling runs from 2-7 p.m. today, 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
