To the relief of millions of Americans, we have the re-election of the president of Obamanation.

Gratefully, as mind comfort food for many letter writers, we continue to have someone totally responsible for all the ills of our world. Otherwise, the only ones we would have to blame would be first wives, or in the case of Newt Gingrich, second, third, etc., ... wives.

As was pointed out recently on TV, Barney Rubble has his own Flintstones Christmas special even though the show is set thousands of years before the stated birth of Christ. (It's a comedy, duh.) But then, Obama caused 9/11, the collapse of the economy in 2008 and the rise of dementia among the electorate.
