Mingda Liu was named the grand-prize winner of the air show's design contest. Her artwork will be printed on a commemorative T-shirt for the 2013 Beaufort Air Show and used on official programs, posters, direct mail and memorabilia, according to a news release.

Liu will also receive $500, 10 tickets to the Air Show flightline chalet and recognition in the event's program.

The first runner-up was Brad Drawdy of Ridgeland, and Josh Reynolds of Fort Stewart, Ga., was the second runner-up.

The top entries, plus five honorable mentions, can be viewed at BeaufortAirShow.com, and are also on display at 905 Bay Street through Jan. 15.
