Debbie Morris and Ted Cooley, owners of Home Helpers of the Lowcountry and Direct Link, were recently honored with the 2012 Home Helpers President's Award at the annual National Conference in Cancun, Mexico.

Home Helpers' specialty is in-home, non-medical health care and companionship for seniors, new and expectant mothers, and those requiring recuperative and continuing care. Its Direct Link arm provides medical alert systems.
