I was raised in a gun-toting family of hunters, taught to shoot at an early age and inherited my father's prize rifle, which I know how to use.
But I need the gun lobbyists to explain why anyone, outside the military, needs an assault weapon. What is their purpose? The ammo used in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre was designed to lodge inside the victim and inflict the maximum amount of damage.
Think about that, gun lobbyists, and picture the tiny bodies of the victims literally riddled with bullets. Now, try explaining to me why we don't need to reinstate the ban on assault weapons.
